SNOWSHOEING

We offer guided hikes through the unique ‘whipped cream’ landscape of the Dachstein plateau. The hiking trails are particularly unique because they are far away from the hustle and bustle of the lifts, making them quite secluded paths. These paths resemble a desert, but with snow instead of sand, so a ‘white desert’. Everyone is always amazed by the sight – a unique view of a snow-covered landscape.

The area: The vast massif of the Dachstein offers two worlds: The dreamy winter landscape with pine forests and massive boulders, as well as the legendary expanse of the Hallstatt Glacier, the largest of the Northern Limestone Alps.
